Hey there!

I want to talk about books. Specifically, I want to talk about the books that I've owned & loved & that changed me -- and I don't know where to do it. Booktube requires putting my astonishing eye-bags on the internet for perpetuity, so that's out. Bookstagram isn't a great forum for long-form writing, plus my bookshelves are not nearly photogenic enough. Ditto Tumblr. But back in the day ("the day" to me, a middle-aged woman, is the late 90s & early 20s, FYI) I was active-ish in fandom on LJ -- and the exchange of ideas & conversations was The Best. And so here I am. And I'm glad you're here too.
